B) about 2.5 miles or so each way.
C) c
D) My office - I too would be nervous leaving this bike out on the racks. I think it is pretty common for faculty who ride to park their bikes in their office.
E) Off and on about 16 years. More off than on perhaps. This year I am treating it more religiously.
F) About 80 - 90%. Not in the snow. Cold OK, rain OK.

[QUOTE=Wiswell]Since this is the commuting section, I would be curious to know what jobs people are commuting by bike, and the different rituals when arriving at work. So, here the questions:

A) Occupation

College professor

B) Commuting Distance

~1 mile each way (what can I say...I live close to work, but I also ride the bike everywhere else I go if feasible)

D) Where bike is parked

F) Year-round/part time commuter

Year round. With my lame commute of ~ 1 mile I can even handle 0 F and snow
