This is a fascinating thread. I'm really enjoying it.

A) Occupation: Attorney for a state agency. (So people hate me for being both a lawyer and a bureaucrat!)

B) Commuting Distance: 9 mile roundtrip

C) When at work I a) shower b) change clothes/clean up c) don't change clothes and hope for the best/clean up:

Depends whether I'm combining the commute with training. If so I'll bring wear the full bike kit then shower and change into lawyer kit. In the fall when it's dry and cool I'll just wear what I wear and maybe give my deodorant a boost when I get here.

D) Where bike is parked: Secure bike cage.

E) Number of years commuting: off and on for 5 years.

F) Year-round/part time commuter: year-round (can't remember the last time I drove or took the bus).

C. At work I change clothes/clean up.
D. Bike gets parked on the street, unfortunately.
E. Two years elsewhere, 7 months in NYC.
F. I really hope to be year-round as I was in other places. But if the roads get too nasty, I'll take the subway and let more daring people than I dodge cabs on ice and slush.
