I like your setup. The rear rack looks a bit off, though. Are the struts going down to the dropout eyelets adjustable? I'm wondering if that rack was designed for bikes with 26" wheels.

Here's a picture of my brand new commuter birthday gift.
A TREK S720. I'm so pleased with it that I just had to show off. |
Really sweet looking!

Windsor International.
I am not sure of the bike's year, if ANYONE knows what year it might be, it would be a HUGE help. This is going to be my commuter once the next school year rolls around. To and from the train station, and at times to work. i am planning on freshly wrapping the handlebars (the foam handles are starting to wear away), and I want to get a new saddle for it as well. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4143/...7ed452f7eb.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4101/...cbbb2538d9.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4075/...9c9a04e1ce.jpg |

My daily commuter. I can't bring myself to put fenders or racks on it so I only ride in nice weather and wear a backpack. Thankfully in the high desert of New Mexico most of the time the weather is nice and dry! |

Nice Giant. Looks really good. The right fenders would look nice but no rack.

Parts dating late in the year usually mean it is next years model. |

Why can't I find any info on that bike? It's a nice one!
http://www.trekbikes.com/dk/da/bikes.../s_bike/s720e/ Many European bikes are spec'd differently than those sold in North America. |

Pretty bike DVC45. Is that a 520?

Good looking bikes, everybody. I love the diversity in selections we have here. Just goes to show, you can use just about anything to get the job done!
Just bought a pannier/saddlebag for my "beater" Pacific/Schwinn. It's a Sunlite Traveler 1 bag, was on sale at Ebikestop.com for $18! Couldn't pass it up. It probably has more storage than I'll ever need commuting. I'm ready to go! (Sorry for the sucky cell pics, my good camera had dead batteries) http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=163557 http://www.bikeforums.net/images/misc/pencil.png |
The picture upload widget doesn't like me either, I had to upload to another site and link the images here for them to work.

Here ya go.

Ah, thank you. Fenders are Planet Bike. I got em off ebay for $25 or $30 shipped. The red and white tips are just some reflective tape I got from Wal-mart.

70km commute today (55km yesterday)... Forrest came home looking a little different too.

Using Flickr to Post Your Pics?
I've been using Flickr for awhile now to post pics of my commuters. They've just changed their website/format and now I can't figure out how to post pics. When I cut & paste the link listed in "Grab the link" under the "Share this" tab, all that shows up on my posts is a little box with a red "x" inside of it. Has anyone else faced the same problem and found a way around it?
Failing that, can anyone recommend another Flickr-type of site that is user-friendly (and free to use)? |
I use Photobucket. Their sharing stuff seems to work well.

That's the problem I was having. I just posted a link and someone else posted the pic correctly for me.
