Thanks for the compliments guys! It rides great. So much so that I am taking the brooks off my other bike and putting it on this one because I know it will be my main bike for a while.

You commute on those spinergy wheels? How do they hold up? Do you ride on super smooth roads or something?

More importantly, did you paint your B-B-Q grill to match your bike? That's dedication.

Only one set of tracks then the rest is "ok"...Lots of glass and debris though..Cant comment on how true they hold yet only bout 50 miles on them now..

The grill is several years old so I actually make the bike look like the grill.

Niiiice. I live in Portland and the other day I saw a guy commuting on an ABSURDLY large unicycle. It was unbelievable. Anyway, at stop lights (because it was so insanely large) he just hopped in place and waited for green. It was awesome.

Here is the new townie I am finishing up for the spring. I'm building around a Soma Buena Vista frame. I came to love the mixte I used last year so I put little money into one that fits. More on it is here on my blog:

Bikes: 2010 Trek FX 7.2, 2006 Felt F80

I'll add to the bike pr0n thread . . .

Wow, what a bunch of nice bikes out there. I'm more than a little envious of some of the custom jobs in this thread. Mine, it's more of a stock job. 2010 Trek 7.2 FX - I've tuned it a bit for speed and carrying capacity - Bontrager rack, SPD pedals, bar-ends, RainRunner Reflex Trekk fenders, and 25 mm 'dillos.
Unladen:

I used just a little pop of fill flash on this shot to show how the fenders light up with the stripe down the middle - don't know why all fenders don't have this feature

Here it is with my typical load - Axiom Lasalle pannier (one side only) and Axiom Laurentian trunk bag:

Here are a couple of updated pics of my Norco Vesta. I've gone to a flat bar now, with a different stem. I have added a dynamo up front with Supernova E3 Pro providing the front blaze and tail light in back for a steady glow. I supplement the dynamo lights with a PB Blaze 2W on blink and a PDW Radbot 1000 in back, on blinking mode.
The bike is a bit dirty due to our snowy/wet conditions lately. I haven't had to touch the belt drive, regardless of the muck I've ridden through. I love it!

Great job! That is a pretty bike.
If the light creates alot of fender wobble, it is really easy to add a stay up front.

Dark. Good idea to get reflective tape. Not to make it unique, but to make it visible to drivers.

How will you carry things? Backpack?
