Jeez, I pass that on almost half my rides. I really should check it out.

You know, when I went in '09, I we parked somewhere way out of the way and took the subway down towards the Intrepid; I never saw the parking lot.

Thanks, they are the SKS P35 Longboards. No complaints as far as the weight and functionality of the fenders; they do the job and do it well.

Sorry, still doesn't look commutery. I've been saying I'll put a rack on since I got it, but I've been somewhat content with backpack commuting on my short commute, and since living with the gf most of the shopping is done at costco so I haven't had need for much more cargo. Still prefer a rear rack over a pack, though... It's just so pretty (to me) right now.

I'm doing the same right now. I have a seat pouch for pleasure rides, and use a really lightweight backpack for commuting to work and the gym. With how light it is I really don't mind it for shorter rides.

I like the Torker Graduate, but what brakes do you have? Is that a front roller/rear coaster? I don't see anything else... also, what gearing are you running?

2014 tcx slr 2. The 2015 has the same color but got the new 11 speed 105, and they should all have trp spyre brakes. last year they came randomly with about bb7 or trp.

Thank you! The bike comes standard with 70mm drums front and rear. Right now I'm running the standard gearing, 42 x 16. As it sits with studded tires, rack, and bags it weighs 37.5 pounds.

Sadly, they do not sell the Graduate that way anymore.

That is sad, it's been a great commuter/errand bike for me so far.

2010 torker graduate owner here, it is my go to bike. I think of them as the F-150 of bicycles.

I would love an old Graduate, alas, I will have to make do with my Fantom Cross Uno.

Howdy! It really is though, I've had that thing loaded down with groceries on many occasions and it handled the load no problem.

That's a nice bike, where I live a single speed is more than adequate. I really only use one gear on the IGH, has me itching to try fixed gear riding.
