Here's mine!!!

I use it for commuting 8 miles (one way) to work 2-3 times a week. I would ride to work more often if it wasn't for my snooze button.

Here's my latest commuter iteration - the Kogswell I posted a couple of months ago has been tweaked and moderately reconfigured with a custom cargo rack, new lighting, and other tweaks.

Well if my new job let me commute, and/or had somewhere for me to keep it, this would be my commuter...posted before but axed during the server troubles. 199? Raleigh M50. All tuned up, cleaned up and rides like a dream, for a tank. I got it for $37 off of eBay. Gotta pick up some fenders and lights and ditch the toe clips

Are those platform pedals sans toe clips and straps? You must have mad skillz to ride a fixie w/ platforms. Or do you actually use the front brake?

FlippingHades: That whole setup is just amazing. Are those lights dynamo-powered?

Thanks! Yes, it's a Schmidt dynamo hub, and the lights are Schmidt-modified Lumotecs. You can see the wiring going down the right front leg of the rack in the second photo.

Oh, yeah. I see it now. You must look like the Muni coming down a darkened street.

I'd say your Raleigh must be a 1994 or somewhere pretty near. I own a 1994 GT that has exactly the same components as yours. It still serves me well with 18 gears, cantilever brakes, rigid fork, single walled rims and long headtube like yours.

Oh, and yeah, ditch the toeclips...

Yeah, I have no idea where my clips are. I use the brake a lot, which kinda sucks, frankly. Either way, I'm saving up for new pedals...

Here's my rig - Trek 7300 - I've added SPD clips, Beavertail fenders and a rack, along with front and rear flashing LED lights, and a LED headlight. I've got an Incredibell (for alerting pedestrians), and bar ends. There's a mounting bracket for my Garmin eTrex on the bars.

I'm debating swapping out the front fork for a rigid fork, and I also need to rotate the stem to lower my riding position. When I got the bike, I was recovering from a motorcycle accident, and needed to ride upright. 2 1/2 years later, I can ride a road bike normally, and between the posture and front fork, I'm not as efficient as I could be. Still, I average between 15 and 16 MPH over 30-50 miles (up from 13 or so when I started in March), and did 17.1 average coming home from work on my 21.5 mile (each way) commute.

to replace this MTB I built last year, but decided to give to my little bro for xmas for toting his kids around in a trailer:

Chipcom - how are you liking the One Way? I dig it on paper, but haven't seen one in the flesh yet.

She rides pretty nice, though I am not sure I am impressed with the Vittoria Randonneur Cross tires that came on it. Of course they probably roll better than the studded tires I'm fixin to put on her. Pretty comfy, even if the bars are lower in relation to the saddle than even my road bike. I may try flipping the stem.

chipcom,
What is strapped to your seat post? It looks like some sort of bracket, but I'm not familiar with it.

It's a Carradice SQR (Saddle Quick Release) mount. I can quickly put my Pendle saddlebag, which contains all my usual 'stuff', plus room for lunch, jacket, etc. on whatever bike I decide to take out.

My new Commuter, 1977 Rampar R-Two, not the first battered Rampar in this massive thread!
Too darn cold for me to commute now though, 10* windchills and 50mph winds on my mostly rural commute, (from Village into town), keep me driving the car in the winter.

Picked up a frame bag and panniers for my commuter (frame bag will house battery and electronics for a future light project)

Thanks chipcom, I thought it was probably something along those lines. The fact that it's a Carradice is probably why I didn't recognize it. I won't even let myself look at the Carradice stuff right now.

Here's my commuter bike.
No panniers or anything because I keep supplies at work and my messenger bag holds anything I need to bring along.
