Your costs show me that we must be getting heavily subsidized fare in our mass transit. In NYC, a ride of any length costs $2.75 or less. Well, I do know it is subsidized.

It's a little different over here, but not that much more, expect that I'd wager that wages are much lower £40K pre-tax.

just returned from holiday ... another weekend of plaster removal and then getting all of the plaster, paint and upper kitchen cabinets recycled and disposed of.

nothing ... that was one of the many surprises we've found when renovating. We think it's late-70s/early-80s or so ... so super recent over here
