Looking for a "estimated time to complete" app
I hope I can explain what it is I am looking for.
I want an app that can can estimate how long it will take for me to complete a ride or run based on my current average speed.
Example.
I enter in the distance (62.5 miles) and press start.
Some time later I check the app and see I have gone 23 miles at an average speed of 14mph. Estimated time to complete 62.5 miles is...
Would be even better if it could tell me the time of day that I should complete the ride. This would help when friends and family want to meet you at the finish line of an event.
So far I have not been able to find anything quite like this. Yes I could do the math but I am lazy and hate math
Does anything like this exist and I have not found it yet? Some apps do so much it is hard to tell if they have this feature or not.

If you have an iPhone 4S or newer, Cyclemeter will give you time remaining. You can set it up in an announcement set by time or distance and it will tell you, via voice, the remaining time but not what time of day you'll get done. I don't know about other apps. Cyclemeter is an iPhone only app.

Not sure what feature you are looking for. Time-to-destination and estimated-time-of-arrival are standard features of basically any navigation software.
Pace is another story. Training softwares usually report pace (ex: 2 mins per km) either at fixed intervals (what was your pace during the last 5kms) or constantly updated. You can also get constant feedback against a virtual competitor or against some past performance (ex: ahead/behind by 10 seconds).
But I don't recall seeing a feature that would update a predicted time as you progress on a given course. ETA provides this information, but not in a format similar to pace, used by athletes who want to improve their performance.

+1 for Cyclemeter.
And if using an iPhone Siri will calculate for you on request. Just say "Hey Siri" and ask your math question.

I have an android phone. so cyclometer is out.
I don';t want to have to enter a route, just the distance. This app is almost exactly what I am looking for, except it is only metric. I am just not used to using metric.

At least with the app above I can enter my current average speed, do the math for the remaining distance and the get an estimate of how much time it will take.
This way if I need to text or call my wife I can let her know I should be done at "estimated time" based on how I am currently riding.

Why don't you run Strava and use their Beacon thing to send your wife a link to a map with your position on it? Garmin has had the same feature for years, I send Beth a link all the time, she likes having it very much. Neither of them has an "estimated arrival time" but it's pretty easy to figure out from the map.
Bonus points for the wife because it feels like a safety feature. If you get hit by a car, she'll know where to send the ambulance.
