H&S Bike-Discount - WTF???
so, 4+ weeks ago i ordered some parts from H&S Bike-Discount, from DE to NZ. my parts are still in.... drum roll, please... BRAZIL!

DHL = useless
bike-discount = useless & arrogant
bike-discount doesn't seem to understand that this is even a problem. the guy i've been talking to seems to think it's reasonable that i wait 4-6 weeks for DHL to "investigate" where the package is before they issue a refund or re-ship the order. this was my 1st order with them and, unless they want to give me a full refund when (if?) the parts get here, i can't imagine i'll be ordering anything from them again.
FWIW, during this time i just got a package from go-pro in the US that was ordered less than a week ago, a package from wiggle UK that got here within a week of ordering, and i'll probably have another package from wiggle before the weekend, within a week of ordering (of course, it'll still be reasonable if it shows up mon or tues). i don't understand how H&S & DHL are capable of screwing this up so thoroughly.

Unfortunately I also am waiting for a package from DE to GR via DHL which should have taken a couple of days but is expected to take more than 10 to arrive! The tracking has it waiting for shipping in Germany for the past week! H&S should have at least informed me either via the site or the order email that DHL is freight and NOT express.

i think it's a bad sign that...
it looks like my package in brazil, which was supposed to be re-routed to me, is out for delivery or waiting to be picked up.
- the only published customer service phone numbers for DHL charge per minute
- the first option on bike-discount's phone menu is "if you'd like to file a claim"

good news: the package has been delivered.
bad news: it's been delivered to someone in brazil.
the order was placed 5+ weeks ago.
bike-discount is blaming DHL, which seems like bull****... if bike-discount put the right address label on the box, it's pretty much inconceivable that it would get delivered in the wrong country. take a detour through the wrong country, maybe, but get delivered?? that means bike-discount put the wrong address on the box.
last night (my time) someone told me they'll re-ship the order and send a confirmation email... no confirmation email. i'll call them tonight and suggest that some free upgrades to the "next level" parts might be reasonable. of course they'll just say, again, "it's not or fault, DHL screwed up". yeah, right.

My package arrived intact, although I wasn't informed by H&S that it would be sent with road freight (DHL) and would take more than a week to reach Greece from Germany. Never the less, the items where correctly shipped and the shipping cost was reasonable.
@smasha, most of my experiences with DHL have been negative with many errors and delays in shipping, so I do find it easy to believe that they messed up with the shipping info... it's happened before with me, and more than once.
