I am curious as to what your training was like, too.
My record is about 72 miles and I have my first 100 coming up in august.
Relatively flat, with a few climbs. I just wore my Zoic shorts with lined chamois pad. Stock saddle on my Giant Roam 2. I suppose better (higher $$$) shorts would have helped. I just ordered these from Amazon in hopes they might help on longer rides in the future:

No real "training" so-to-speak. I just ride 2 or 3 times a week for about 30 to 50 miles at a time. I kept the power bars, Body Armor drinks and water plentiful.

Zoics are great shorts, but I see what you mean: I'm still using the padded liner from my Zoic Vim from 2000 in my unlined full-leg running tights, but my newish Canari Exo shorts have like twice the padding.
You're pretty brave: Tackling the century with your longest ride being 50M. I give you a lot of credit for having that much faith in yourself.
Pardon me, but did you say "body armor drinks"? Pray tell. What are they?

My previous best was about 70 miles. 68 to be exact, I believe.

Body Armor drinks are similar to Gatorade I would say. I really like them much better though. Lot better and stronger flavor. More like juice.

Did you get a chance to try the Body Armor Drinks? Do they have them in your area?

Nope.., but thanks for asking. I drink Nature's Plus Energy Shake as a recovery drink. On long rides, I bring organic energy bars and water with sea salt and a little fruit juice mixed in.

It certainly was.

Lesson learned though. Used the wrong padded shorts.

Congrats one4smoke. My first century was good till about mile 80. I found out some things about myself. It gets easier once you get some long miles in your legs.
I just did 6 century rides in 6 consecutive weeks.
