I ride 5-7 days a week, up to 200 miles. I don't take days off for "rest" specifically. I don't need rest days, I'm not riding centuries on my daily rides.

7 days a week. a rest day is when I ride straight to work which is only 1.35 miles. Most mornings I try to get an hour ride in before rolling into work. The weekends are for longer rides.

Bikes: (2) 2019 Specialized Roll Sports, 1992 Merlin Road Ti, 1986 Schwinn Peloton, 2 Trek 920’s,

I try and ride at least 4-5 times per week. Usually between 25 and 35 miles each day.

Some weeks I will ride 7 straight days but like you say they are not centuries I’m like the majority here 4-5 rides a week mostly 5. A few days off is good to balance other interests and of course recover some.

3 to 5 days a week, Anything from 20 to 30 during the week, longer on one day over the weekend. I always keep one day open on the weekends for She Who Must Be Obeyed in case of honey do's or a day in town for fun stuff.

I'm working more than ever at 60 yrs old. Tough making ends meet. So I get out once a week if I am lucky. I go several weeks without riding. I feel so much better physically and mentally when I do ride. I'm in good enough shape that all the off time from not riding doesnt really effect me anymore. When I have the time and feel good I just jump on the bike and in a few miles start cranking away. I think its the near 1/2 century of riding experience and a great fitting bike that allows me to keep in good riding shape without many current miles. And I have a labor intense job. Keeps me fit.

Ride anywhere from 3-5 times a week depending when it is - winter time is indoor trainer work. Spring and summer is intermixed with sports and coaching with the last two kids at home. Fall is more often. Usually 18-20 miles during the week for "lunch time" rides.

I started riding over 30 years ago because it was part of a triathlon. So i still consider my rides training. Therefore i usually ride 4 to 5 days s week. I ride 25 miles 4 days and if i ride on the 5th day I'll ride 50 miles.

Ideally six days on, one day off. Realistically 4 or 5 days on. One day off is OK. Two in a row is marginal. Three in a row and I start getting twitchy and my back starts acting up.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday a group of us cycle for about an hour, before work.
Then on Saturday we try and do a longer ride.

It varies a lot here from 3 to 7 days a week. Mostly commuting, errands, and utility riding of the 20 to 40 mile range, with a few longer days thrown in.

I do start dragging a bit if I hit about 14 days or so consecutive days of riding.

3-5 rides a week depending on weather and schedule. My rides are shorter, around 10-20 miles each so my weekly average is about 60-75 miles.

Four or five/week otherwise. Rides tend to be longer and more scenic rather than repeats or intervals.

Huh?
Formal training plan for an event?
By event do you mean a competitive race?
What are you executing btw?
I am most curious.

I try for 5 - Monday Fridays always rest days.
Often I blow my legs out on weekend & need Tuesday off as well to overcome DOMS.
The older I get, recovery can take longer

My wife and I typically ride our tandem 3X per week with a group of oldies (65-80) for a total of 75 miles. I am allowed out solo one day per week to ride 30-35 with an 80 year-old who I have difficulty staying with at 18mph!!

I usually go out for 3 trips per day, weather permitting, totalling 15-25 miles depending on how long my butt holds out. That is my limiting factor.
Just got another new saddle so, I am in a naively optimistic phase at the moment and am looking to bump those miles up.

Riding either 5 or 6 times a week. Try to do between 30-40 miles each day. Averaging around 16-17 mph. per ride. Rest when I am tired.

I try to ride 3-4 times a week. The rides are now up to 10-12 miles of mostly gravel, potholes and hills. I also am hiking some in-between, and I ride horses. I've found that switching things up is helping me stay active and at it, not getting bored. Just did a 12.5 mile mountain hike in just over 4 hours. I'm amazed at how fast both my lungs and my legs and my core are improving. Planning a 17 mile ride on a mildly hilly paved bike-path for tomorrow.
