+1.

I live near a street known as Sherman Way, and everytime I drive past it I think of "The Way-Back Machine!"

I went to a bike shop and looked at a Trek Pilot 5.0 yesterday. I liked the components, and the fact that it can take fenders and a rear rack. With some small changes to the gearing, I can get the range I want.

I just can't seem to get over the carbon thing. It just doesn't feel "right" to have a carbon fiber bicycle.

Am I worrying too much?

I have two Trek carbon bikes and haven't had a problem with either of them. Don't worry - just enjoy the ride

It's a figure of speech I use whenever I want somebody to remember something. I'll start out with "OK now, lets get in the Way-Back machine and go back to...." It really WAS a great show on so many levels. Thanks for agreeing with me.

20 Mule Team Borax...the show was hosted by _______ _______.

My favorite horse shows on Saturday mornings, after the cartoons: Fury (featuring the dashing & crush-worthy Peter Graves) and My Friend Flicka.

I brushed my teeth with Ipana but preferred Pepsodent.

Yabba-dabba-doooooo!

Back in the early '60s, it seemed that my mother was the only person in the world who had heard of Neosporin. Being treated by school and camp nurses with Iodine and Mercurochrome when I knew about Neosporin seemed like intentional torture by the authority figures.

In 2nd grade, I had a teacher tell me that the sting was all the germs dying. Even then I knew enough about anatomy to know that a germ dying couldn't cause me pain. And of course I knew that Neosporin killed germs without stinging. After that I never took an authority at their word.

Thanks.....
The only thing I remember about Alka Seltzer commercial was a kid type character with a big (Alka Seltzer) pill for a hat and the "Plop Plop Fizz Fizz" jingle
