30 miles in the foothills around Petaluma and 11 miles back home. Consumed the contents of 3 water bottles and a thick Turkey loaf sandwich. Dropped 4 pounds.

8/24 = 69 miles.
up and out the door at sunrise and boy it was a bit chilly. i love riding this early in the morning. i was thinking about a century, but around mile 40ish i just didnt get that warm fuzzy feeling from the legs. still a century, just of the metric variety. i had maybe 10 minutes of off the bike time as i tried to power through the miles.
later.

8/24 - was able to get in an hour of riding after getting back from the downtown birthday extravaganza. Legs felt awesome. Getting a little better each day now (coming out of my viral funk). Beautiful day - 20 miles of fredtastic muppets. Hill repeats, etc.

Couple of miles here and there pulling my daughter around and having my son follow me on his bike. Somewhere in the 9mph avg range for a couple of miles.
Other than that.. pool cleaning duty and hanging around the pool prevented some more serious riding today

8/24 - century+... 103 miles via the Bike Psyho's Century Average speed came to 16.4... and I wasn't draftin My fastest century yet
what a beautiful day to ride. Met mridan from here (bikeforums.net)... and he tagged along with us for a while. Dan it was nice to meet you and ride with you for a while
Going to rest up some this week with a little running and prepare for this weekend's Wright Stuff Century... but that has lots of hills... I don't anticipate the same average as yesterday

Still, Millenium Force is where it's at. 300' drop on smooth as silk rails. Easily my favorite coaster.

Top Thrill Dragster rocks. The whole world shimmers and blurs. There is a split second respite at the top. Then the whole world shimmers and blurs down into the outrun.

But the Magnum is just as good because of the 10 minute lines!

Wow... what a commute home. Cruising at 22-23mph without much effort. Sometimes even hitting 26mph when I started to push. Tailwind from the North was absolutely amazing.
28.5 miles at 18.5mph avg. Fastest commute ever.

8/25 Wonderful ride today.... 43.8 Miles on Central Florida, from Longwood to Oviedo to Orlando and back. A little rain at mid-ride but this is Florida... if it doesn't rain, the ride was not long enough.

8/26 = 31 miles this morning before heading into work.
nice and easy effort. i have some issues with this weather though. WTF? comes to mind. its August and i am wondering where the heat and dead calm is? Spring was cold and wet. now, we have August mornings with 50 degree temps and 10 mph winds out of the east. i want some freaking summer weather, not fall, in August. i am sure i am in the minority here.

8/24 About 46 miles. "About" because frayed computer wires resulted in such numbers during my ride as: cadence of 240, average speed of 96.2, trip mileage of 1826, and peak speed of 177.9. I'm assuming some of those numbers are off a little bit. But, you just never know.
