Help finding a replacement for this frame

I'm looking for a frameset to replace this:

I like that this frame supports a top pull front shifter:

Isn't this better than running an exposed cable under the bottom bracket for a winter commuter? Most current frames seem to use bottom pull shifters, so that limits my options. Or does it? I know cable stop clamps can be mounted. Are they any good? Won't they slip?

This frame can take 47mm winter tires. I'm willing to go down to maybe 40mm, but nothing less. Does that leave out cyclocross frames?

Two eyelets for rack and fenders is nice, but I guess I could make just one work:

Bottom bracket must be threaded, do not want press fit.

Other requirements:
Support quick release wheels
Material: Aluminium
Mounts for disc brakes
Rigid fork
Road-like geometry

I like the looks of the Fuji Tread 1.3, but the bottom bracket type is wrong. The Jamis Renegade Exile could be an option, or the Ridley X-Bow Allroad. Not sure if these will take fenders and 40mm wheels, though.

Suggestions are welcome.

Bikes: 2015 Giant Roam 1 | 2002 Giant Sedona LX | 1980s Norco Monterey SL

Giant ATX-lite hits all of your points except for the geometry - it's more of a hybrid geometry vs. road...

https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/atx-lite

-Top Pull front shifter
-Threaded bottom bracket
-Aluminum frame
-Rigid fork
-QR wheels included
-Disc brakes included
-Fender eyelets included
-27.5 x 1.95 (50mm) tires included stock

Pretty darned close match to what you want if you ask me.

Cheers

Just about any MTB frame will work. The older you go the more road-like the geometry will be; newer ones will be less QR and more disk brakey. '06 will be a sweet spot IMO. Racier models will not have rack mounts.

Top mounted cables are presumably more crud-friendly; but after 25 years of BB routed cables I can't say I notice a difference over my top tube/top pull ones. Clamp-on guides are great, but don't work with ovalized tubes

Modern hybrids are close to old-school MTB geometry but if you want 26", you'll have to to go used MTB.

Pure 'cross frames are meant for racing, and will not have rack mounts

Thanks for the tips. The geometry of that Giant looks a bit too relaxed. Maybe a gravel bike is what I need. The search continues.

The 2014 Orange RX9 - would have fit your bill - it came stock with 35mm tires but with plenty of room for wider, top pull front shifter, and all of your other needs:

Unfortunately they changed the style for current models and it no longer has the top-pull shifter.

If that's a real and primary consideration for you then it might be tough because those are not very common. But yes, agree, a cyclocross or gravel style bike is probably closer to what you are looking for.

Yes, that Orange would've worked. Forme Hooklow 2 Multi-Route Bike | Forme Bikes is pretty good too. Geometry could have been more aggressive, though.
