I love old XTR. The new stuff is for suckers. I hear that SID's are a bizzitch to deal with though. Can you attest?

Well the Ibis is about to get a rigid fork put back on it. Not that there is a problem with this SID, its just that I like the feel of a rigid fork. All my MTB rides are on smooth fire road and singletrack now. I've used SID's since they first came out in early '98. I wish I still had my original. Yeah, they take a bit more maintenance but I don't mind it. Once you have it down and a few spare parts they are easy to work on.

Here is my 05 stumpjumper FSR Comp.

Since this pic was taken 2 weeks ago I have swapped out the fork for an 08 Fox float 140mm and added some ODI lock on grips.

I'm thinking of putting some bar ends on that stick straight up as well....LOL

I have another Juicy 7, but it needs pads and I needed to ride, so I just tossed a spare Hayes Nine on there for the time being.

Surprisingly good frame for the age and make. The Carbon Fiber has stood the test of time and weight. I am a clydesdale at 245 lbs and it doesn't flex or bow, and I have taken it over logs, rocks, and small jumps. Pretty solid for it's age. As long as the Aluminum Joints last it looks like I'm good.

Just got a new bike last week. 2007 Trek Elite 9.9. Used to have a pair of 4500's. Now I need to get a carbon water cage and carbon pump.

Added the XTR Pedals and Bontgrager Bar Ends.
