The lockring that physically holds it into the dSlr camera snapped off after somebody mistreated it. Im kinda annoyed, and it's hard to explain. I'd take pics, but i obviously cant.
OT: I finally went clipless.

Me personally, I would never loan my DSLR to anyone (not even my wife).

Do you only have one lens? You can remove the lock ring if you are careful... Depress the lens release button and use an awl to rotate the lock ring. It will be tight... Hopefully there was no damage to the shutter blades or mirror.

MattP... I love me some heavy tanks, and I like your rig alot.
I'm also jealous because Old Town Sacramento is one of my favorite watering holes.
Nice bike. Nice town.

Old Sac is a cool place for sure! I live just outside Sac, and it's always a treat to ride the fixie into Old Sac, and stop at this one pizza joint, it's like $4.99 for a pizza buffet, sit outside and relax. Then stop at this one candy store (can't remember the name) also in Old Sac, cool place, free samples on all the candy!

Must admit I really enjoyed the Railroad museum in Old Sac!
Also did the (American?) River trail on the road bikes up to Folsom and back. I thought it was decent for a bike path, 60 miles up and back as I recall.

The railroad museum is a must. And the ART is great. I'm up in El Dorado Hills (just past Folsom), but I work in Fair Oaks (off the Sunrise exit) so Saturdays, I'll ride into work via the ART, about 40miles round trip. Great trail, except when you get the bone heads w/ their TT bikes, in large packs, spinning at like 25mph+, makes it uncomfortable for those who are out for a leisure ride, or with children. But none the less, an excellent pathway!

Karate Monkey
I just picked up my Karate Monkey from my LBS today. I rode her a little and took a few photos before dark. Hope you like it, I sure do.

I got the frame for really cheap because the shop got it for really cheap because of the imperfect decals. You can see the one of "Karate Monkey" in this picture, but the "Fatties Fit Fine" is also screwed up, but covered by the chainstay guard.
It's my first 29er, giving me a pair of mountain bikes, the other a 2006 Fisher Cake 2 DLX.
Here are the specs of my build:
-Avid BB7 mechanical discs
-Shimano M475 Hubs laced with 2mm DT Swiss spokes to WTB Dual Duty 29er rims
-Panaracer Rampage 29x2.35" tires
-WTB Momentum headset
-Generic stem, bars and a Kalloy post off a Marin Nail Trail
-Shimano Deore gear ready crankset with a 32t ring, 20t Surly cog in back
-WTB Speed V saddle, will be replaced by a Brooks Team Professional
-Lizard Skins chainstay guard. This is to cover up the sticker on the frame that's screwed up.
-For now old Sakae road pedals that will be caged

Best bike I've ever owned. 2008 SJ FSR elite, completely stock. I cannot believe the plush ride down and how great it climbs.

Finally took a picture of the HT after pulling off the 66 and putting on the Pike. It also got a few other parts off of the old trail bike. I put the Gravity Dropper on it because I've also been using it to commute to/from work.

The bike is SO much more fun to ride now that it has the Pike. It was sluggish before but now it is quick and snappy. I have the lighter weight and lower a-to-c of the Pike to thank for that.
