^^ Titec Scoper - - seatpost-within-a-seatpost for abbreviated- (or, in the case of Matt's Canfield, bent-) seat tube bikes.
Very slick, Matt; oh, and nice choice of wheels

The wheels have been good so far, no complaints..... yet. I'm sure they'll hold up to living at Northstar and riding it daily for the next 3 months, then moving to Bellingham for 4 years!!!

Hey guys, thought I'd throw my new ride up on here. 2008 Kona Explosif. After waiting for almost a month for some of the parts to arrive, I finally put it together. I'm running it as a rigid 32x15 single speed right now, but the sliding dropout on the right side has a derailleur hanger for if I want to ever run it with gears. If you're looking at the photo and saying "what derailleur hanger?" the reason is because Kona sent the wrong piece with the frame. The correct one should be arriving soon, assuming that the shop actually ordered it. This whole project has been quite an exercise in patience. Anyway, I hope you like it. I really dig this bike.

New to me bike. First serious mountain bike, got a killer deal on it off craigslist. All stock, for now. Need to find some firm springs for the fork, and i think im gonna start building a new wheelset for it so i can ditch the skraxle.

There are far too few hardtails in this thread. This is my 1.5 month old Kent Eriken Hardtail. I posted a thread a while ago, but have made a few minor changes and some new photos from a trip to Fruita and Moab:
Frame: Kent Eriksen Titanium Hardtail
Fork: Rock Shox Reba Race (2008)
Headset: Chris King
Stem: Thomson Elite 110 mm (black)
Handlebars: Custom Kent Eriksen Ti (YETI Speedgrips)
Brakes: Paul's Love Levers, Paul's Motolite, Kool-Stop Ceramic Pads (front), Avid Rim Wrangler 2 Ceramic Pads (rear)
Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT, 9 speed
Shift Levers: Shimano Deore XT, 9 speed
Cassette: Shimano Deore XT, 11-32t (M770)
Chain: Shimano Deore XT (HG93)
Crankset / Bottom Bracket: Shimano Deore XT, 175mm
Pedals: Shimano M540
Front Wheel: Mavic Crossmax XL (cermaic), Salsa Ti Skewer, Panaracer Fire XC Pro (2.1), Hutchinson latex tube (green)
Rear Wheel: Mavic Crossmax ST (Ceramic), Salsa Ti Skewer, Panaracer Fire XC Pro (2.1), Hutchinson latex tube (green)
Saddle: Selle Italia Flite Titanium
Seat Post: Kent Eriksen Sweetpost, layback

I stopped by the Kent Eriksen shop on the way back from Moab. Great shop, and I got to see where my frame came from:

It all ends up like this:

Donated the Profile crank to my son and his growing BMX addiction. I was really amazed at how light the new XTR crank is.
