Yeah, but it says 'SHIMANO' in big white letters.
I'm talking way more enigmatic.

My wife asked for something to dress it up a bit, and we were fresh out of pink kitty stickers. Besides, with that whole sponsorship thing, I had stacks of the Shimano stickers.
No, Shimano did not sponsor me, and it's a long story.

My ride is a stock 04 Giant Iguana. If I get lucky my parents are going to let my buy a Demo 8 used (it saves me about 2 grand) so I can go downhilling.

Ok, here is my mix and match 2004 KHS Sport.

Here are the specs:
Frame: 2004 KHS Alite w/ replaceable hanger--7005 aluminum
Fork: InSync Elixir 5hundred something (I don't have the exact spec with me, won it on ebay for 9 bucks months ago, been riding on it since)
Crankset: ProWheel 42/34/24
Shifters: Shimano Acera 7 speed brake/shifter
Brakes: Tektro V-brake
FD: Shimano Deore
RD: Shimano Tourney Megarange
Freewheel: Sunrace Megadrive 13-34 7 speed
Front wheel: Mavic x221 32H/generic QR Hub
Rear Wheel: Mavic M230 (tacoed the original x221 and had to do a rebuild) 36H/generic QR threadon hub
Pedals: Wellgo SPD (I don't rememer the model, it's scratched off)
I think that is all that is important on the specs. I've got another x221 as a backup (I like the m230 better). I've also got some new Shimano Deore cassette hubs I won on e-bay for $.99 each and a 7 speed 11-30 cassette on the way (new for $7.50--ebay). I'll be changing out the hubs (spokes are same length for those hubs as dimensions are the same).
It's not stock (all upgrades have been great deals I won on ebay) and it's not high end, but it does the job and really is a sweet and tight ride for an entry level, even before the upgrades. I'm sticking with KHS.

Here's mine...
I just got it but haven't been able to ride anywhere much b/c of all the snow here in IL =(
It's the standard Fuji Adventure Comp 2005 model. I will be replacing the stock platforms with some eggbeaters.

I agree completely - that's part of the 'well mostly' I was referring to - I did want that back in 01 when I bought it for my Proflex - HUGE improvement over what I had and it fit the budget at the time... I will say that I have had absolutely ZERO problems with that fork (just jinxed myself) and it works pretty well - but a TALAS or FLOAT would be sweet...when I kill the current one, that's what will replace it...It ain't broke, so I'm not going to fix it - yet.
