Hard to believe they both have over 3500 miles on each one, huh?
Unlike some people, I actually ride my bikes...

They're almost wore-out to me...
I paid $550 for the K2 (new) on eBay last year, MSRP $1500,
but I just put a All Mountain 1 fork on it last w/e that
set me back $380 (MSRP $725). It makes all the difference
in the world with how it handles now. It's like a new bike again.
Thanks for the compliment
Nice Jeep BTW, I'll give you $1000 for it right now

of metal, like real thick aluminum foil. It works well. The Haro doesn't
have much of a chain slap problem. Must be the angle of the chainstays.
I have always been a fan of "fork boots" like was on my MX bikes, but
you can't buy them for mtn.bikes... The skinz are the closest thing.
Thanks!

but after a few bumpy rides and jumps, it's all scratched and the plate is kinda peeled off.

after the new parts
next thing to go is the fork, but I have such a hard time replacing it, it to me has had no problems, it still works well and performs well, it has taken some abuse and still presses on, I've known people with the same fork who completely destroyed it and mine is still tickin'

I got my axle fork back finally from the LBS and put it to good use on my girlfriends bike, along with some of my other spare parts it made for a decent light trail rig.

It now has a manipoo axel elite fork, xt rear derailler, deore front derailler, deore v brakes, a ritchey seat post and some nice michelin tires
I also finally got my xt cassette from the store and put my other wheels on.

Nothing personal at all, but it seems weird to me
seeing a water bottle on a bike.
I've used a backpack hydration system for about
the past 10 years or more...
I'm sure alot of people still use the bottles though.
I just can't stand the taste of horse**** myself...
