Even the stanchions were perfect untill i have it for 2 days and i already have a nice scratch on one, i think it was during transport on the greyhound, no leaks though. I included a picture comparing the exr pro on my dekerf to my new drop off triple, the exr looks like a joke. Also i know that the drop off triple is the cheapest triple clamp offered by marz but it is definently a welcome improvement over my exr pro. I read all the reviews i could find for this bike, and they are right, it is heavy, not a good climber, and if you think a dual crown fork on a HT is not a good match this is not the bike for you, but this is exactly what i wanted, a lot of travel a solid frame all at an affordable price, it only cost me 1125$ . I just got back from riding burnaby mt, and i can do things i couldnt do before and other things alot better.
I've always liked DC forks on HTs.

Here is another picture of my Epic. I am going to more of an all mountain type of set up on it now. I must say, after finally switching to discs, holy crap they are a beautiful thing.

where can i buy reflectors like that? i didn't see any stick on ones (or whatever it is you have) at my lbs.

is it possible for you to tell me exactly what kind/brand it is? i commute with my bike and it seems as though that would really help visibility for cars.

Not at all. I mean, i dont even own the original frame. Bought this in May last year. If you noticed carefully, the SPECIALIZED wordings on the lower tube is kinda different from original. And the most obvious is these 2 stupid holes which is located above the seatstay. I`ll provide the more detailed image tomorrow.(My digicam isnt with me now ) Anyway, bought this frame for about USD $80 and it is kinda heavier than original ones i assumed.

That's reflective tape placed in between his spokes on the rim. I should know as I'm the one who taught him.

Yup - I think Raiyn got his stuff from a Radio Shack. No such luck for me. The closest I could find locally were sheets of reflective tape at my Canadian Tire that I found to be too expensive. I ended up buying my reflective tape from this eBay seller. https://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...erid=doublewow

Specifically I think it was the HIGH INTENSITY SILVER Reflective 3M Scotchlite Tape that I bought. (https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7544736533)

I think I used 2 to 3 sheets to do both wheels and the tubes you see.

I'm guessing you found an old thread? Yeah it's old Radio Shack stuff (no longer availiable so don't ask) I'm still planning on replacing that stuff with the black reflective tape I found over at Galls. I just haven't done it yet.

When I research my topics, I research them really, really well.

To scr1be: The eBay seller I showed you also has black reflective sheets. It appears to be a notch lower on the reflective scale than what I have but the stuff I bought is pretty extreme.

Hey Tony, nice bike. I got three questions for you though;

1. Did you ever 'tap' alyssa milano? I know you were her TV dad, and it might be all weird and all, but she was definately legal by the end of the shows run.

2. Why didn't you just nail the grandmother, Mona? She would have been much easier than the mother on the show and you wouldn't have had all that pent up sexual frustration that was always so palpable. You could have just walked right up to her apartment and gotten it any time you wanted it. And she would have been into some crazy stuff too, if you know what I mean. You could tell she was a bit wild.

3. How did you keep yourself from hauling off and smacking that little kid in the noggin'? Man, he was annoying.

3. how do you like the headshock?

Theres nothing that that Tony Danza couldn't and wouldn't do in the late 1980s..and that includes Alyssa Milano.

Heh, Tony Danza talks in the third person too..haha.

But, the headshock is OK, its proved to be strong but the overall bike is about as stiff as it gets, when I get some money together I could get something that compliments that you know? to make it a little easier/comfortable on the lighter trails. I actually came about riding trails because I rode BMX my entire childhood, when I got to college it just faded away. This has been such a good way to get back on a bike.

Ah, some wheelset recomendations would be appreciated too.

Oh, and I forgot to add I would really love to switch to disc, I saw your the one that said they just did. How did it go? What equipment did you buy?
