Big, flat platforms. With replaceable pins. But that bike won't survive too many big jumps. That's my advice anyway.

Which is a pretty stupid thing to do...well not for a stupid person.

A question for the mods...wouldn't it be a hell of a lot easier to just ban the users IP address?

It may be the shoes, but look at some BMX pedals. Grippy stuff. I race with Haro pedals and a clipless shoe (no cleats) that looks like a skate shoe. No slip.

no problem. ive alreddy gone really big and this frame is tough tough. I thrash it harder than the guys that I see on expensive bikes that turn down there noses at me.

Do pins come with those pedals or do I need to buy them when I buy the pedals?

His question was a good one, actually. Let's just say that if you abide by the forum rules, you have nothing to worry about.

Pedals should already have pins. But get some pedals that have replaceable pins, from a dealer that offers the replacements.

Can't help you with tire selection, you'd have to measure for that.

As far as the rules, it works like this: If someone posts something offensive, and it gets reported, the moderators will take appropriate action. If a moderator comes across something in the course of reading a thread, they can take action at that time too. The point is that if you have respect for the other forum readers, you have nothing to worry about.

You need to see if your tires will interfere with V brakes or seat/chain stays. Name calling of any type is not allowed, but we're not going to police every little thing. If someone complains, we'll act on it. If you have any more questions, send me a PM, we've hijacked this thread enough.
