Cool, but that was totally spotless! Not even a trace of mud on the tires! Lets see some mud on that baby!

Unfortunately, the only shot I have of mine in a remotely-up-to-date state is this one...

Stupid night time.

2004 Ibex Ignition-2 - Nevada Silver.
front to back:
WTB WeirWolf 2.1, Sunrims Singletrack, XT hub, Avid mechanical disc brake, Lizardskins lock-on grips with Cane Creek Ergo 2s (on the stock rizer and stem), XTR STI/DC levers, Marzocchi Marathon S, Shimano LX crankset, Crank Brothers Candy Cs (grey), XT front derailleur, XT rear cassette, XT rear derailleur, Same wheel for rear now (had the stock rear on in the photo). Shimano SIS brake and Avid FlackJacket shift cables.

I've been learning all about replacing and maintaining things since I purchased this bike - for fun, not because I have to.

I like the way that bike looks for some reason! I like the seat too! And the funky tires. What kind of tires are those?

Rock Lobster is one of the older frame builders of the early 1990s who have managed to survive pretty much intact and true to their original form. They make excellent solid bikes that usually are painted in bold solid colours. If you're into oldschool custom MTBs with character, they should be on the top of your list. They also make distinctive road and cyclocross bikes. Check out their signature road frame.

No... they're still in business. And yes, the brand is actually Rock Lobster.
