Bikes: 2004 Raleigh Talus, 2001 Motobecane Vent Noir (Custom build for heavy riders)
2004 Diamondback Outlook (I use it more as a commuter that I can offroad as well)
Serfas Rx seat
Half-clips/alloy pedals
Serfas Drifter tires w/ tire liners (the tires have some built in as well...I'm paranoid like that)
Avenir cushion grips (still trying them...might go back to stock though)
It's a somewhat heavy bike, but it does it's job pretty well...I am considering getting a nicer rear derailer as well....I have to figure out what works with that weird 7-sprocket "mega-range" cassette in the back though.

Hey REGGIE, my singlespeed is a Giant. Until I switch the SS parts over to the S-Works for the summer, at least.

I think you took my apology the wrong way the 1st time.... I almost bought a C'Dale w/ a Lefty fork, but backed out because of almost no future compatability with the Coda hubs.
As far as Buying vs. Owning: Owning means that you actually already have it, whereas Buying means you plan to own it....
Maybe I should type a little slower so some people can understand me better....

well I just dropped my down payment on a Kona Hoss. I am 270 pounds and was looking for a solid entry level bike that wouldhold my weight and take some abuse as I get reaclimated to the sport. I used to bike lots in my teens but kinda gave it up for twelve years. So I am looking to get back in as a fitness thing and because I really enjoyed riding through the bush of NW ontario.
so ya can see the pic at Kona's website

Here's a crappy pic of my 'do it all' (trailriding, XC racing, commuting, baby trailer towing) ride.
2002 Rocky Mountain Trailhead, all stock except:
- 2003 MX Pro ETA fork
- RF Next crank
- Hutchinson Python Air Lite tires & Maxxis Ultrathin tubes
- Serfas Arc saddle
- Deore V's, with Cool Stop pads
Drivetrain: Alivio shifters (work fine), Deore RD, LX FD, HG50 cassette, PC-59 chain
Got a 90mm 5degree Raceface Deuce stem coming, and thinking of picking up a set of Crossmax Enduro rims.
