26 vs 29

At this point in my riding...me too.
And it's somewhat because it's "easier to increase the rotational velocity vs a wheel/tire with greater mass that will perpetuate it's momentum better" (due to my fav. local trails being all UP/DOWN/UP/DOWN/UP/DOWN necessitating greater acceleration vs. momentum) and also because suspension handles landing from "air time" better than a big wheel.

I think 29ers are good for quick up and down because of the momentum that they hold, and because of the traction they have while standing and climbing. They aren't as good for hopping around, especially at lower speeds, I will grant you that.
I do notice that I tend to roll a lot of stuff on the 29er that I would drop on a similar 26er. Sometimes it jut wants to stay planted and plow, albeit with the requisite weight shifting on the part of the rider (bikes don't ride themselves).

My trails are up and down hills probably 20 feet or more and very rooty. I prefer the 29er to easily roll over the roots. Going uphill it really helps. Sometimes a root can just stop you and it is likely you will fall if you don't keep rolling.

Dude, lighten up. It's the intardweb. Public domain and all, you may at times have to deal with people saying and doing things you dislike. If you don't like someone responding, um, well, ignore them perhaps?
Deal with it.
Hanging out in most bike forums is kinda' like hanging out in a Mcdondald's bathroom. No real reason to do so, and you feel sort of dirty afterwards.

This thread blows as much as the last 29ER justification thread.
