No need for it.

Why not have a single brake in the front rather than the rear? Never really thought about it until now, but it seems like if you only need one brake, putting it up front would be ideal.

I'm sure there's a reason, I just don't know what it is.

Some people ride brakeless freewheel.

Some people like to have some kinda brake but also want to do barspins and not do the detangler deal.

Some dirtjumpers like to hit their rear brake midair to help get the nose down for hitting downslope of the landing.

Where only having a front brake only on a fixed gear is fine, having a front brake only on a dirt jumper is asking for trouble, you also use the rear brake if you need to scrub a little speed off. With a front brake and a suspension fork, you could be thrown.

Hope you guys aren't as sticklers about bike positioning as the Road Cycling forum :)

Taken back in October on my first ride with those tires: 2.2" Specialized The Captain Sports.

Yeah, I'm a stickler. You should've moved the bike twelve inches forward. The pine tree is obscuring the rear tire. Photo composition man, composition! Sheesh... amateurs... :D

Too much bling, not enough dirt.
