Bikes: are fun to ride

Sweet S-Works! The only suggestion I'd make is swap out the bars with something wider. Those 90's bars are hella narrow.

I still ride on them!
Got them at Prerformance a couple of years ago.
I agree, great tyres.
OP, great pick up for $200 by the way. Nice one.

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

For those doubters who don't think I ever get it dirty; sporting a partial acre of good ol' Port Angeles, WA mud. Gee, I hope cross-state soil transport isn't some Dept. of Agriculture invasive species violation:

There was more before driving through that rain squall over Snoqualmie Pass.

Cool Sworks Dan! Have you figured out the year? It reminds me of my old Sworks...kind of regret selling that one.

My favorite ride, slightly changed from the original build.

This is beautiful.

It's a 95. Team with the XT build with added V Brakes. It's just so... solid. Amazingly nice bike. I'm in the process of cleaning it up right now- it needs a lot more work than I'd first thought. The shocks are ok at best, one of the speed springs is broken, but near the bottom, so I might just go with it for a little, the xt vees are totally sloppy, and rebuld kits are few and far between. It does shift and go pretty good though, I never liked gripshift, but I like the time capsule part of it, so they'll stay and I'll adapt.

There's a regular wednesday night MTB ride around here, it'll make its debut one of these days. It's amazing what you can get for $200 these days.

The Hoptimum headset is perfect!! Still can't find any of that stuff around here...guess there's not much of a market for a 100 IBU IPA in redneck GA

Thanks, Dan. It is definitely a fun and fast bike. Have fun with your Sworks.

Thanks, Sam. I picked up the four-pack over the weekend at my favorite local beer shop...TJ's in Carrboro. Surprisingly, I actually came across it yesterday at the grocery store as well.

For what you'll most likely be using that for, it'll perform great for you (including the brakes). I like GT's.
