Nice bike, but I'm certain that the match is a Manitou product, not marzocchi.

My new (to me) 1996 Trek 830, with new brakes, trigger shifters, and bar-ends. I'm thinking of doing a drop bar conversion, these flat bars are really awkward to me, even with bar-ends.

I thought you'd sent the TA down the road.

Oh no. As my primary XC ride, the Kamui/Revelation combo is stupid fun, but...

Since I had this frame still kicking around, and the Lyrik sitting around (since it can work on pretty much any of my frames as a back up fork if need be...) it gave me an excuse to build another bike. Not your average SS bike, but fun. Figure it'll be the one to ride to work when snowy, throw studs on for winter ice rides, and general screwing around trialsy fun. The Lyrik at 160mm on the front of this makes it an even more capable bike when pointed down, but is more fork than I want on my daily driver rides. Thus the Kamui/Revelation combo - that bike is a rocketship up and down, so long as I'm not sloppy in line choice.

New bar and grips. Wheels are off the Reign-X, giving me an excuse to get a new wheel-set for it, which is a new set up Hope hubs and Flow rims. Got a cheapy Azonic set for it as well, with full DH tires for certain days. And a non-droppy seatpost and QR clamp for those days as well.

Remember kids: N+1 is the rule.

Rode the Kamui yesterday, the RX today at the same trails. Mixing things up is good.

Nice 456c toastedone, I had to decide between that and my Sovereign. The Sov won out because it was cheaper at the time, and I didn't want to have to deal with carbon paste or the worry of it somehow breaking. If I had a more stable income I probably would have gone with the 456c.

456c is noice!! I'm still kicking around the idea of that replacing my Komodo. I've never been man enough to buy carbon yet, but I think that's the one for me. Still burly, slack, and almost 2pounds lighter than what I've got. Heck man...that thing with an Argyle RCT would bring my hardtail down to the 26lbs range and still be a good HT gnar-shredder.

That frame from TiTi is only $399!!

Christmas is coming.

(edit: you should ditch the logo's, gold bar, and go proper "murdered out")

I thought of going for a total stealth black look, but in the end bought some gold hope pro II evo hubs, so added gold superstar nano's, gold hope seat clamp, gold superstar lock ons, and the gold race face dues bars, I am looking to replace the bars for some haven carbons soon and may use the hubs on my next build

I was just kidding...all black would be cool, but it's tastefully done. I went with red Hope Pro 2's on my build (black XLT / black vanilla). It's hard to resist colored ano.
