Bikes: 2009 Trek 4300 with all upgraded components

I saw on Jensens website they are selling Jamis Dukar bikes at about 600 bucks. Thats the cheapest I have ever seen a full suspension bike! So I did a google search on the bike. It seems that 2008's had a problem with the chainstay part of the frame cracking, but was ok after 2008. I dont know if this would apply to this bike or not. The components on this bike alone are worth over the price you are paying for it. Just check some online bike stores....

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

^^ Wow, at least one new frame every year for five years. That's better than being sponsored .

I agree with Craig. I've had my 2008 Jamis Parker for about one year now. I've loved it so much. The brakes that came on it are sketchy, that's why I am replacing the rear. I finally had success bleeding the front brake. The bike itself is amazing, as are both the shocks and components. No complaints about the bike except the brakes (which are Hayes). I got a Shimano for the rear brake.

I looked it up earlier today - - 1.0 has Tektros; 2.0 has Stroker Rydes, which I heard were suspect and what I figured the OP has so let it slide; and 3.0 has Stroker Trails, which, if the OP is having problems, I would assume would be due to owner ignorance and let that slide too. If a person can't make Stroker Trails work there is something wrong with them, not the brakeset.

If I had it to do all over again...I'd have gone with a Heckler with a 36Vanilla.

If I had to do it all over again... I'd probably be on the same bike that I am right now with a reba instead of a fox.
