RR - absolutely! I may have totaled my roadie though, have to get it looked at. Have a mtb so I might be a bit lagging behind.

So, this Wednesday at Waterside Plaza (25th St all the way at the East River) is a free swing dance - the Boilermakers. These guys are phenomenal, a bit uptempo but amazing and in from PA. I'll be there from 7-9pm and then ride around afterwards. Anyone else interested?

We've gone on plenty of rides that have gone later than that - don't blame me if you're just getting old ;)

Besides, the riding around afterwards is inversely proportional to the amount of dancing I do.

Steve, if you looked like that, attendance would be consistently high.

Awesome! It's a bit tricky to find - you have to go UP. Either by the walkway closer to where the boats are (south of Waterside Plaza) or up the stairs before you get there (northern side). If you come across 25th St across the pedestrian walk don't go down - keep going up and you'll get to the plaza.

Gah! Can't make it this week, but I'll be around next week.

so i came today with two friends, stayed to the end, but didn't see any crew of bike folks... in case you saw us, we were the two guys and one girl sitting over by the restaurant terrace overlooking the water.

the music was great tho! good stuff.

Ahhh, I saw you guys. I was looking for just you and after asking a few people if they were on Bike Forums and got 'what the heck is that' I gave up. You walked past my bike with the bright green jersey tossed over the handlebars.

bummer, i guess we needed some sort of organized meet-up point. or Bike Forums tee-shirts!

Would be psyched to join up w you guys for an upcomin weekday night ride. Will keep my eye out on this thread. What kind of ride you doing -- road bikes, mtb? Bombing or something more tempered?

Little bit of everything :) Pace is between 12-15 or so. Jeebus rides a Brompton, I use my roadie but have used my mtb. Road's probably the easiest.

Riding the old world sport a lot more these days, but I'll break out the Brompton for casual rides.

Air, we need to go back to that spot above the GWB again.
