I hear ya - my friend (whom I'm the godchild of one of his three kids (boy/girl twin and then another girl)) and I used to ride all the time. I keep trying to get him out of the house for a jaunt...one of these days I'll wear him down. Think he really needs it but won't realize that til he does it.

Looks I will be NYC - Manhattan area 9/26-9/29 - taking a train up with my bestest friend from another forum (bicycling.com) - her name is juciluci - and we're staying at another bicycling.com forumite - randomguy (the guy I wrote about earlier).

We are Not, however, bringing bikes. Friend's knee is outta wack.

But I think it would be great fun if we could all meet - sometime on say Saturday? Or Friday?

I haven't even had the commute for the last 2 weeks or so. It's been one thing or another.

Me too - wimped out yesterday (weather) and twisted my neck this morning:notamused:

fwiw - temps look to be about 10-5 degrees warmer tomorrow and Friday; I'd be up for it.

Just clarifying--I'm up for any night this week, but Air suggested NEXT Wednesday so he could be part of it. I think I'd be up for that, too.
