Naw ,they dont make real Jeeps anymore. If you cant spray off the carpeting without removing it from the inside, its not a real Jeep.

I think Car Talk qualifies as "locker room," although I can't get that into it. Here's my contribution:

Interesting observation.
I'm not sure what it means. If it means more college sports team talk, then let's plod on. Autos are at least as relevant and maybe more so as one is necessary to haul your bike sometimes.

If it is saying we should touch a bit more on cycling then maybe we should pay attention.

PS - my auto... again I think... it's a 1991 and I may never need to buy another car.

She thinks I'm some mean dude because I tell her she really doesn't need to wear underpants with her cycling shorts. We have a difference of opinion.

I'm trying to post a smiley here... and it's uncapitalizing it.

Oh, that's not mean, it's the truth.

Took the "carpet" out of my wife's 2004 Wrangler. Oh yeah, no back seat, no automatic transmission, and no A/C. Real Jeeps don't have those things either.

I think it's very easy to understand; some people just like to drive a P.O.S.

And there you go my patience is rewarded! True, jen, you are not really supposed to wear underware with cycling shorts, but it is a personal decision. It is a little weird at first but you get used to it.

I don't need to, it's just more comfortable. I ordered a pair of tighter shorts that may be more underwear-less friendly. They're at least shorter so I can move this stupid tan line up.

Amen. Somehow, in my effort to help newb Jen in her cycling pursuits, I got labeled.

I drive a 91 Dodge ram that I put a flatbed on when it was new for my business. Wife has a 94, I think, Dodge grand caravan that I can put a sheet of plywood in flat or 4 bikes easily. And we have a 34' motorhome that is 12 years old. All are paid for. I hate owing on vehicles.
