Very good question... I've kept an eye on fleabay but the 705s all seem to go above 500, and the 305s seem to go above 200.

I got a crankset for the 'cross bike today. SRAM Force. 53/39, lotsa miles on it (but from a friend), $30. Buying new rings for it in 46/38, $40. $70 force crankset in great condition.

I've only been burned once, and that was ebay many years ago, and I should have seen it. I have found most of my ebay dealings to be as good or better than some online retailers.
