I didn't actually measure it, but it is a pretty big section. I'm pissed, but whatever. I have no idea how scotch tape did that though. I think there was already a nick in the paint and the tape just ripped it off. Freaking stupid. Not sure I would buy another carbon bike. But the aluminum options suck. Spooky is badass but expensive. The shop that sponsors my collegiate team sells spooky though, so if I can get a discount I may get one of those for the 2012 collegiate season.

From what some experts have said on here, and by expert I mean Pcad, the new 10 speed chains and drive trains can be cross chained as long as your FD is aligned. So maybe you are right and all you need do is align that FD. With Crash's supervision, of course. :wink:

i could go with girl from ipanema, but that just may sound like muzak (it apparently is the muzakified jazz song)...

Just took a closer look at my FD and it's too close on the inside, and pushes too far out on the big ring. The Mr. adjusted it once since putting the new group on, but he recently tested it again and told me it was fine and to just ride it. Feh.
