I think it is awesome. I assume there is a story behind it, and refurbishing ANYTHING will go over well. If it does not, she isn't worth it.

Think of it this way, Herbie's wife still remembers the spark plugs. They laugh about it, she gives him crap about it, but in the long run, it was a real good gift.
