My christmas eve ride was miserable. Legs felt tired, weak. Decided to turn around and come back...

Hey coasting,

How do you eat porridge without any salt? It's very bland.

dried cranberries, ground flaxseed, raisins, walnuts, cinnamon. this is usually sweet enough. sometimes i just throw in a couple of teaspoons of sugar for a quick snack. have i said it before? porridge rules! goldilocks agrees.

One of the girls is going to Spain for the summer.

I ended up in the most ridiculous 10 minute argument after one of her friends started talking about how Spain is a third-world country and that Madrid is where she thinks al qaeda moved to.

I'm not kidding

I've been using a dash of salt, a healthy amount of cinnamon, raisins, and a heaping tablespoon of brown sugar.

you're doing it wrong. when you talk to ignorant people, you can have a lot of fun if you don't make it too obvious you are dropping whoppers.

by the way, why do so many amricans think large parts of the world are third world? with the absence of war for long enough, most parts of the world have caught up with america in the last 60 years or so.

well, Campania, Calabria, and Sicilia are all pretty third world. Watching how ass-backward Campania was on the movie Gommorah was almost shocking. The contrast between those regions and the likes of Veneto and Lombardia is pretty signficant.

you should have taped it for our enjoyment.

They probably also think they serve whatever is served in Taco Bells in Spain. I would have brought up the Basque Country and Catalonian language just to make their pea-sized brains explode.
