mmm... brie.

There was a re-run of the episode of No Reservations on last night where Tony is on a live tour and stops in Milwaukee. There's a 5 second clip of my favo(u)rite cheese shop.

Ultimately I think I'll be on the road 75% of the time.
It's not so much about the weight it's the geometry, wheel and tires. Let me put it another way. If you want to be able to ride fast on the road with other road riders, get a road bike. If speed isn't an issue, then a cross bike would do fine. A set of road wheels for it might make it more tolerable on group rides.

So does that mean if I get a cross bike I'm not welcome to discuss my road adventures on it here or in the road forum?

That's a travesty.

I am chartering this pedal bike while on holiday. I believe I will be riding it on the incorrect side of the road.

Speaking of food, I saw my new favorite sign this weekend - Food is an essential part of a balanced diet.

You're going to love it, as long as it isn't the size that's in the picture. That would be torture for you.

much as i like felt, i just don't like red bikes. i like red accents a lot but solid red is not for me. I also like yellow on a bike but solid yellow is no good either. It's just too much of a good thing on the eye like eating a whole cake because it is delicious. then it becomes not so delicious. You know what i mean?

Biggest they have is a 58. It has an effective top tube of 58cm which in 1 cm shorter than my bike. I am bringing a longer stem. According to the spec it comes with a 110 and I use a 120 on mine, as luck would have it I a 130 in the pile o' bike crap.

If I were buying I would need to ride the 60 and the 58 as they seem to straddle my current bike.
