Cute squirrel. You guys eat them out in OK? Reminds me of a scene in "Winter's Bone."

It is actually the "pop up squirrel" from 18mo ago in National Geographic. There was a internet meme of it popping up everywhere.

Snail guy, how about speed skating?? It is not hockey and it complements cycling quite nicely.

Here's an interesting article (at least I found it interesting) about when your online anonymity gets removed...

Did you guys read the GFNY kit design thread? Is there a real reason for that to get locked?

A long, long time ago, this was (at least tangentially) a thread about pcad's Scott Addict. That's my 2011 Scott Addict R1. Hopefully soon to be a bicycle.

When I open this thread, most of the advertisements are for programs to help folks with drug addiction problems.

The alleged reason is improper advertising.

But since when do "Reason" and "BF" belong in the same sentence, anyway??

Bikes: Something Canadian, something Italian, something American, and something German

I nearly ran out of gas today I think. My gas light was on and twice at stops on uphills the car turned off. I guess that's because the tank was tilted and the engine could not get gas.

I hope.

Bikes: Velo Volmobile

That bike shop (I assume it is a bike shop) looks a lot different than the ones around here.

The guy that started it is the GFNY promoter, has a link in his signature for it, and is not a paid subscriber. That ride is a for-profit event. Pay up or GTFO.

I am not a paid subscriber either.....does that mean I should GTFO too?

edit: Nevermind, I am not a for profit guy, just a humble cyclist. So I like to think that means I can stay and play with the gang.

And I certainly don't have an issue with this...except that two other mods posted in the thread before it was locked...providing the advice the OP was asking for. Also, the reason stated was "mentioning price/advertisement". The OP didn't bring up the price, others did.

Also, according to the basic guidelines for BF: https://www.bikeforums.net/faq.php?fa...q_solicitation

Solicitation
Refrain from using BikeForums to advertise your site, items for sale, commercial services or website. You may attach a short link to your site within your profile or signature.
Note: I've got NO connection to the poster or event in question, and I won't be attending (it's Mother's Day, jeebus). I'm just unclear on these rules.

That explains why my ex's father is coaching for the speed skating club and is into cycling too... I Might ask him if I ever see him again before winter end. I used to enjoy skating, speed and pain from trying too hard. this might be a good idea afterall.

oh btw. that Scott is looking awesome
