Getting brutal here. It's still above freezing (35*F) according to the thermometer, but the wind is howling...wind chill is at 19*F right now. Don't get a 16 degree difference between those two too often.

Seemed like a switch was flipped this year. Usually we get a tease or 2 before any snow sticks. This year, instant cold and snow.

Yup. Mid-20s and at least 6" of snow so far (it's hard to tell, because we get a lot of drifting). Lake effect snow warning today, so more is coming.

It's no biggie though, cause the Jeep can get us out and the road crews know what to do with all that white stuff around here.

Get a fluid trainer - so much nicer than the mag trainers.

I'd hate to think of my blood getting tossed. IF they had a return policy, that would be cool.
If you want the return policy ask for the "Contador" treatment.

This sounds bad, but one of the cons when I debate donating blood is that it will mess up cycling for a few days.

It won't "mess it up" but you may feel a bit tired and should not push it the few days afterwards.

My daughter is smaller than you, and she can give.

I don't even know my blood type.

I'm O+.

I did it once and felt really bad for days afterwards. When I followed up with the blood folk, that's what they told me.

If you can donate blood, you're too fat for this sport.

The replay is inconclusive. But why go through that charade if you are not going to swallow?
