I discovered a cop who sits on my MUP radaring the cyclists that go by. The speed limit is only 20, so it would be pretty easy to get nailed.

There's one here that's 15mph, and rarely there will be a cop there (usually after there's an accident and some walker/runner gets upset). It's a small hill the entire way, so you are going 16-18mph one way and 22 the other way, so I think it'd be easy to get snipped if they were feeling grinchy.

We usually wuss out at 3 inches. But I am surprised they kept schools open when it was 6-8, 18 in some places plus one school bus accident yesterday. This is not MN and we do not have enough snow plows, but it is melting

Last night, I was the down in the desert doing some shopping, (I live in the mountains), and I had my bike with me so that I could get a long ride in. The weather was nice as long as the sun was out, but the temperature dropped sharply and the wind picked up after sunset. Not wanting to end the ride there, I continued riding into a fierce headwind. The roads in that town continuously straight, running North-South and East-West 1 mile apart in a near perfect patchwork pattern. This caused my traveling (West) to be met with a consistent headwind, which I elected to use as 'resistance training'. It was cool. I had to keep my cadence pretty high to stay warm, as I was not dressed for the conditions, but I kept a good tempo and it was quite rewarding. The ride was especially appreciated since my rides tend to get shorter this time of year; what, with the high winds, frigid temps, and bad road conditions/drivers.

By the way, did you post this in the wrong thread?

Any thread where people are likely to harden up. The big softies on this thread would rather just have another doughnut.

makes sense, since the topical stuff you buy at the drugstore is simply salicylic acid anyway. why not use acetic acid?

The 'bota was a little grumpy this morning. I much prefer using the block heater rather than the glow plugs, but it works better when you remember to plug it in....

I have not seen it, I just hear it.
Could be a bank robbery nearby.
. . . there's at least five or six cars. The officers don't seem to be in hot pursuit mode, though.
