Actually, we use home remedies here. Garlic infused honey with a whiskey chaser is good too. Or just eat the garlic clove with the whiskey, if you prefer.

I wonder how good these home remedies are when you have already gotten sick. It may be like closing the barn door after the horse has wandered off. they might be good as a maintenance way to prevent getting sick, so i regularly drink green tea and eat garlic and ginger.
