For everyone who tuned in to WCNY for the "shout out", Diane says, "thanks for listening".

In spite of the stupid weather I am determined not to lose fitness and even gain if possible.

Yesterday I (over)did it with some stupid 2 minute intervals.

Today was 40 minutes "temp" (RPE 6ish) on the rollers, album de jour was "Robbie Robertson" anyone remember that from the 1980's? Luckily the album is just about 40 minutes, so I ended as the CD did.

Now munching down a bowl of cherries.

I just did an hour at the LBS with their group. Didn't know they had that going on, until this week. I think I might go back Thurs. I just downed half of a large peperoni and bacon pizza, and a Pepsi Throwback. Gonna fill up my water bottles, and go down, for another hour or so in the basement. I lost 3lbs last week. If I can keep that up, I'll be at race weight by March.

The cherries sound good. However, I don't recall that album.

Is your training plan structured, or are you just trying to do something to improve overall?

No not really if I was a weight weenie about my body, I would of never hit and stayed at 157lbs for a month. I was 148lbs at the end of last summer. It's time to get back to that.

I really should be more structured...I have the Carmichael book "Time Crunched Cyclist Program" and want to follow it but am too lazy to do the field test, also I have a HRM but not a power meter. I am trying to alternate easy/hard days and am toying with trying a tri so a little bit of swim/fast walk thrown in.

So that's the long answer.

The short answer is not really structured.
