Be careful. I hear beetroot overdose is not a pretty sight.

Hey coasting,

Have you taken beet juice out on a ride? You should do some trials to see if it boosts performance.

we need a bigger sample. we should have another time trial with and without beetroot juice but it might stain your water bottle.

It was exact.

Thanks...

I've been reading a lot about double and triple cranksets. I climb A LOT of hills and there is no way I can keep my cadence above 80rpm on a 20% grade with my current gear setup (50/39/30 - 11-25). So I'm thinking I'm going to stick with the triple crankset and do a 10spd cassette geared at 11-32. The last two times I've ridden 50+ miles I have had some achy knee pain so I want to try a lower geared setup before stepping up the difficulty.

Hurry up and figure it out. I need to know if it will give me an edge if I race BLR up the mountain

This sounds like the most awful concoction I've ever heard of. What's wrong with simple banana and orange smoothies?

Bikes: everywhere

No vege-doping benefits from the orange/nana.

Beet/carrot is actually pretty good. The combo I always drank had celery and wheatgrass too. Seems like the hippies always told me that wheatgrass had vege-doping properties also.

20% less oxygen required when I dance on the pedals. Can banana do that? I think not.

I don't have the special channels for that stuff. This is in Vegas, so it is actually being aired in the U.S.

Hahaha! It's all in how you use it I reckon. If you're juicing to get your chi in order then you're a hippie. If you're juicing to lay waste to opponents then no need to start shopping for patchouli.

I did it.

50/49/32 in front
105 shifters

Trying to decide between 11-32 and 11-34

My left knee really hurts from the ride yesterday. I'm just ready for a high-geared setup.
11-34 in
