I made the mid-day nap mistake also.
I won't be able to properly assess boredom levels 'til the cowboy coffee on the stove is finished brewing and the caffeine snaps me out of this post-nap slump.

I bet he enjoyed chopping down that cherry tree. if ever a man looked guilty about tree chopping, that is the look right there.

Sorry but I'm hoping to be able to get back into my old jerseys one of these days.

I just want a new frame but don't think I wanna get rid of my CAAD9. Unless they are fetching some decent cash. What are BB30 CAAD9s going for anyway?
Sure I do, most of it isn't sell worthy though, but old parts work great when me or one of my friends is in a bind. Plus, I find it's easier to just keep extra bikes laying around for emergencies. You would be amazed how many times I have loaned my friends bikes to race or ride for a week, loaned one of my Fuji SL1's to a friend of mine to race for a month or so.

So I found this decent fork on ebay for only $80, but dont know if it will fit my 2011 specialized allez frame

But then you like the crash bike and fix it up. Then you like it too much and you need another crash bike. Then you like that bike too, so you need another crash bike. It just keeps going forever. Eventually you have 2manybikes.
VA does your allez have the tapered head tube? I think the steerer tube on a tapered fork is also tapered. It is larger at the bottom. if so that fork wont work.
Yea it is tapered
1-1/8" bottom and 1-1/5" top

1-1/8" bottom and 1-1/5" top
Are you sure it isn't the other way around? Be pretty tough to find a stem if it is the way you say.

Im correct (when the bike is upside down)
that really depressed me...$80 and cut half a pound off my bike.
