A few hrs of paperwork at the office, and gotta see patients in the hospitals. I use Sundays as my catch up day for the "business" side. Proofing dictations, doing the books, making sure invoices are paid, that kind of stuff.

I don't think I saw brown rice once in Thailand. I never really thought about it, but where do they se brown rice? Besides america where we think it is better for you (which it may be)
Reminds me of the time I showed my Mother in law that her whole grain "healthy" bread had more calories per slice than regular white flour counterpart. Blew her mind (it may have been tortillas now that i am thinking of it.)

Brown rice has only had the hulls removed, and has not been further processed, so it retains more nutrients. It's also more filling, and I happen to like the flavor and texture.
And "healthy" doesn't just mean "less calories". Whole grains have more nutrients and fiber.

I dug a little more, and white rice v. brown rice seems to also be a cultural issue. Brown rice is for peasants and animals.

I love the taste of brown rice, but also love white rice. We have Basmati, Jasmine, Arborio, Extra Long White, and brown rice in our pantry. Pasta and Rice take up an entire shelf.

no. but i did find a solution. my golf shoes work a treat! the problem is i changed the iron studs for soft plastic studs a while back because some of the fancier courses would not allow metal spikes on their greens. what a load of crap. now i find they are wearing out fast on the ice. i need to change the spikes.

I'm a peasant AND an animal.
I've diversified away from always using rice or pasta after going gluten free for a while and wanting options other than just rice, so we've got brown basmati, arborio, and then french green lentils, and quinoa. Sometimes I'll switch out the brown basmati with white jasmine.

well I have the next 2 wed off so I was considering crashing your ride... especially after your sad tale of 2 riders showing up last wed. So I suppose my question would be where is the "WC scoop" (where the ride starts). I was hoping it would be malvernish but it seems a bit west.
Also I love that people actually revise your ride status, we seem to get updates about once ever 4 months.

Also, you are right our club is very active and the rides section is always being updated with new rides. You should see the ride board in the summer, it's crazy busy. Now that it's the off season there are only a few rides/week. Supposedly the club has 400+ members which is pretty good for a suburban area. I suspect about 100 of them are MTBers though. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

You are welcome to join but don't "crash" the ride. PM sent with details.
