Yup. It was a long time ago. I had a really busy week leading up to the event and didn't get enough rest. I maintained a pretty good pace initially (probably just adrenaline), but near the halfway mark my lack of sleep started to catch up with me. So, I laid down on the grass near one of the event traffic control points and took a nap.

I've fallen asleep during a couple Ironmans, and almost took a nap during a Half Iron... I mean, getting up that early, and standing around all day can really take a lot out of a person.
