That is very cool. You must be proud of Mrs. Jones.

On an unrelated note, NWS says it will be 80deg here on Thursday. My office will be closed. Hopefully nothing will come up to ruin the first long ride of the year.

Last night I watched some of this fascinating film: Invisible Girlfriend

And by fascinating, I mean it in a "I hope I never become this crazy" sense

Trailer (warning: language)

I don't think even coasting is this crazy. Besides, coasting has said he doesn't like the French.

It's not always so easy to get a good mountaintop photo. One time I loaded up my gear, drove two hours, and made the five-mile trek up Mt. LeConte (same mountain as pictured above). This is the best picture I got from the summit:

Fail.

Another time I rode my bike 20 miles up to the top of Clingman's Dome and was rewarded with a similar view.

Even if you check the weather in advance, it's not always easy to know what the cloud cover will be like until you get up there.

Oh well, at least it was a good workout.

I did not take that photo, hence the link. I did, however, take the cloud masterpiece.

Oh boy.

I hope he wins and I hope every TSA agent involved is fired. This **** has to stop. So many examples of what happens when you give middle school dropouts a sense of power and authority

Well, I take the opposing view, I hope he doesn't win his little protest. People need to realize freedom is not free. Airport screening is a very small price to pay for security. People are too dang spoiled and too dang content . . . . until something goes wrong, then its "Oh why didn't they do this" and "Why didn't they do that"!

And with that let's take it to the PMs to avoid p&r violations here, or just drop it.

I don't see how he sustained $250,000 in damages. And why is the 4 backwards?

I like this "Thanks for noticing" line on the Twitter error screen. How can you not notice when it isn't working?
