You don't use a wood stove? Mine gets us into the upper 70's after work, 80's on the weekends. I've got enough firewood for 2 or 3 seasons around here.
btw, we finally had some sustained flurries last night giving us our first dusting of the year - accum about .01 inch.
. . Sorry.

But it pisses me off because the park (which is beautiful, and the home of the Azalea Festival in April) is closed to all road traffic and bicycles during the light show (you can drive through at night with headlights off) and that is where I do hill repeats

Today's ride was cut short. A very nice retired gentleman showed up for the ride. I sat back with him and we ended up cutting the ride a little short.

My ride today was good. Compared to recent temps it was warm, about 40. There were only 4 of us but all about the same level, we did a quick 45 miles.
Tomorrow's forecast is rain all day so it will be either rollers or swimming. My kids have a swim practice at the "Y" tomorrow so I may bite the bullet and hit the lap pool.

I had an interesting discussion with one of my club-mates on today's ride.
I was commenting on how I wish I was faster and mentioned some of the stronger guys in our club.
He said that the main difference between me and them is not strength/fitness but just the ability to suffer and keep going.
I am not so sure about that, I wonder if the ability to "suffer" matters as much as innate ability.
Any thoughts?
