Oh yeah, I would install the bar tape but I was told that I could either use camo bar tape or none. You can probably figure out which I chose.

Thank you. Hopefully it is nice on new years day, if not I'll be taking it for it's first ride in two or three months.

i bet lowcel is a black bartape kinda guy.
his favourite ice cream is vanilla.
with a colnago, you really should let your inner guido express himself.

We've had 30mph winds and snow all day. The pitch is pretty steep to get to the damage, and he's more valuable to me alive, so I didn't want him making the attempt in these conditions.
It stopped leaking last night about an hour after it started snowing, now there's a couple inches up there. I peeled some of the paint off in the bathroom, and the drywall is actually nearly dry already. He found some shingles in the garage, so he's going to borrow a harness from someone at work and climb up there when conditions are a little more favorable.

So... I'm stoked!
I have mastered riding on rollers!!
datlas' (I think it was him?) recommendation of having someone hold me was the ticket. We also moved the rollers so that I could rest elbows on a doorframe instead of smashing my hands on them, and that made a huge difference. After about 10 minutes he stood behind me without touching me just to be there, and then a few minutes later he moved away completely and I just relied on my elbows.
Whee!
