Thumbs up to Bacchetta

I have to give a shout-out to Bacchetta for some good customer service. The screws that hold the seat to the seat bracket apparently worked their way out over the course of 3 years riding. But when it got down to 1 screw, things became noticeably wobbly. The screws were fairly specialized being counter-sunk and having allen heads.

An email to them got 4 new screws in the mail to me, no charge.

As thanks, I sent them an article I had written, about recumbents in general and mentions Bacchetta, that is in this issue of the Emerald City of the South.

Nice. They replaced my entire seat bracket on my Agio... but this was through the dealer. I only have one 'bent, but it's a good one.

Other Bacchetta riders have had similar experiences with the seat mounting bolts. It's probably worth using some Blue Loctite or similar.

Sounds like a good deal to me, it is always nice to see and hear that some companies take care of customers.

Happened to me too. What was your recline?

I had the countersunk bolts work out on me also. I tend to ride very reclined on my Bacchetta Bella/ATT, and noticed that my recurve seat frame was hitting the main frame tube.

What was your recline position like? (Wondering if a highly reclined position contributed to the bolts working loose.)
