oh...also, not specifically portland ss/fg related, but it's related to a portland fg rider (me), so....whatevs.
i asked about housing a while back, and got some input here....anyway, i found some housing, this is my second month there. just the other day my roommate told me she'd decided that her best friend was going to be moving into my room next month. needless to say, i'm none too happy....but anyway, i'm back on the search for a place to live. anyone got any leads? talked to tehz about looking for a place in january, but i'm none too sure just what's going on, and i'll be interested in any info anyone has.

Depending on pending employment I'm going to be moving to Portland early/mid January. If you haven't figured anything out by then drop me a line.

yeah, i know rotting potatoes in hidden places will smell nice...i know a guy who ended up in this situation and pissed in the heating vents before leaving...i dunno. i'm going to try to exercise self-control.
oh, and the sprockettes thing, there's a bunch of stuff...there's an alleykitten among other things...i oughta be helping out with some of it (i know someone who's doing a lot with setting it up, i've been hanging out with one of the sprockettes a lot lately), but i don't know what i'm doing yet.

what? i'd do that. seriously...i haven't lived in a house with heat for a couple of winters, and i own next to nothing, so space is no issue.
off this last topic...i sometimes wonder what all your bikes look like so i can tell when you're locking next to me. hell, one of you may be at stumptown as i'm posting this....

i've said farewell to the road bike, so this is it, for the winter at least.

So I wonder, does shoveling leaves back onto the yards of people who raked them into the bike lane count as some sort of criminal mischief? Cause I have a snow shovel and really want to go get these bastards that make 3 foot tall piles along a fairly busy road.

tons of people got tickets again yesterday. not sure what the final count was, but by the time I ate lunch, 8 had gotten hit with them.
seems the barnum and balzer circus has geared itself back up into action.
handbrakeless riders watch out

where abouts is all this going down? downtown?
I've been rolling around my sister's neighborhood that last couple Sundays (hollywood? i think.. north of sellwood) on my motta and haven't gotten a second glance from passing cops.

don't even begin to think yo know where this two are at haha.
i have seen beevis and butthead all the way out in tigard on barbur. i also was standing on 23rd next to my bike (it was locked up) and one of em rode by and he was just straight muggin.
it could be because i just had court like 2 weeks ago though.

Well it's not technically Portland, but I'm gonna do my first cross race on Sunday out in Hillsboro, hooray! Way sweet, I'm so excited. Also this dry weather rocks.
